Garland Fire Department:
The City of Garland is located northeast of Dallas and covers 57 square miles. As of 2010 census, Garland’s population was 226,876.
The Garland Fire Department operation division consists of eleven fire stations, with each station equipped with a Fire apparatus (Engine or Truck) and an ALS Ambulance.

| Raymond Knight Appointed as City of Garland's Fire Chief |

Raymond Knight was confirmed Tuesday night April 3rd at the city counsel meeting as the City of Garland Managing Director of the Fire Department. The Garland Fire Fighters Association would like to Congratulate Chief Knight on his appointment. The Fire Fighters Association looks forward to continuing to build a good working relationship with Chief Knight.
